If like me you use SPAMassassin as one of your filters to block SPAM, a friendly reminder: don’t forget to check your spam box! For whatever reason, I configured it to filter all likely SPAM emails to a folder (rather than simply deleting them), and then somewhat cunningly, totally forgot about it (mainly due to the folder only being accessible through Webmail..).
Cue random thought. Login to webmail, check SPAM folder. 1,439 PAGES. Not emails. PAGES. Webmail is configured to display 50 emails per page… 71950 SPAM emails, and let’s say an average of 10kb* each… we’re talking 700mb in storage space.
