I was forced to revert to MS Internet Explorer to try and get Webmessenger running as the system status claimed to be up, even though I couldn’t connect to it the conventional way. I fire up IE, find the webmessenger page, where I’m promptly told that a pop-up has been blocked (and WM requires the use of popups). No worries, I think, and choose the “show blocked popup” prompt in IE.
That’s right – the popup that got blocked was advertising a popup blocker. Ridiculous.
