One of the senior managers in my office lives just up the road from me. We seem to get on the road to go to work at about the same time most mornings, most mornings we have a bit of a race (although I’m not sure he knows that) and unfortunately he normally ends up winning. Well not today! Hurrah! Yep – he actually got on the road slightly before me, but I was in the office a good 10 minutes before him.
Oh, did I mention that he’s in a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S… and I’m on a push bike? Guess not. Yep, it’s true – heavy (and I mean heavy) fog this morning meant that more people were in their cars (the lazy scumbags) than usual, and presumably whilst I was filtering my way through all the traffic, Mr. Porsche was sat in air conditioned leather-lined luxury listening to Radio 4.
Pah. My crusade for stopping blind people from driving (i.e., those people who drive around with their wing mirrors folded in continues… I must have “reminded” half a dozen people this morning.
*Applause*
well done!!
