You're reading a really old version of matt-thornton's website. For example, if you're looking at the movie reviews... you'll notice that none of them are of recent films. Indeed, I leave them here for posterity's sake, but I doubt very much that they'll get updated anytime soon. So have a giggle.
You might, if you're lucky, find something recent from Matt at his blog matt's debates. Kernow bys vyken.
harry gets sexier
I must admit, I'll pretend that for whatever reason I'm violently opposed to the HP franchise, but I secretly quite enjoy them. So whilst BBuster took forever to send this to me, I still did the usual "Ach, it's only HP, I might get round to it whenever", I actually watched it a lot quicker than any of the others previously.
Erm, well, it's the same again... Voldomort is doing his best to revive himself from the dead in order that he can enact a vicious and ghastly death on to old Harry. This time it's through a cunning subterfuge that is the TriWizard games - a challenge between three wizard schools to find the best of the best of their young wizards. It consists of a few really nasty challenges and of course Harry is involved. And when he happens to be the final contestant, we find out it's really part of Voldy's plan to capture Harry.
Well, it's more of the same. This is actually not quite so dark as Azhkaban, but there's increased on the relationships of the main characters - that is that though it would seem obvious for Harry and Hermione to get it on, it's more like that she fancies the little ginger one. Who blatantly fancies her.
There's more special FX, some typically fantastical challenges and the stuff you've come to expect from the HP stuff.
Frankly I'm a bit hooked, and at the end of this one, I found myself wanting the next one to come out soon. It is 2.5 hours long, but if you like this sort of thing, then that's good value.
And Hermione is getting less and less jailbait-y in every film... ideal. And Harry really needs a haircut.
