No false pretenses here - this does exactly what it says on the tin.
the plot:
A spoof, Scary Movie style, that parodies all the best (worst?) teen flicks of the last decade in one feast of a ... teen flick. Films spoofed include... Road Trip, American Pie, Can't Hardly Wait, She's All That, Cruel Intentions to name but a few.
the verdict:
This won't win any awards, but then it was probably never intending to. Totally predictable, totally ridiculous, totally slapstick. A dumb teen flick full of irony, sarcasm and naked chicks. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's a good shot at the spoof genre - it takes a bunch of shit films, and takes the piss out of them. And what's more, it's full to the brim of hot girls in not many clothes. There's even some bloke arse in there, if you like that sort of thing. Lead actress Chyler Leigh is "all that" in a young, naive, Rachel Stephens sort of way. That's enough for me.
If you liked Scary Movie(s) then you'll like this. If you want something cheap and easy, have a go. Good fun, if you're not too serious.
