Follow up…

In follow up to this entry I just had to post again. I have just received the actual email… the “original” if you will. I wanted to show you guys, but it was impossible to take a screenshot, so you’ll just have to take a look yourself. I’ve sanitised it as much as possible and removed the forwards etc. Ignore that little bit of Javascript error… I simply cannot believe people think that this actually came from Hotmail.

I asked the sender if they thought it was real. She (no comment) said she thought it was. When told it was a hoax, she said “OH! Nevermind!”. The problem is I do mind! Not only does it mean I’m going to get SPAM for tea but it is such a horrendous waste of resources.

What I also don’t understand, never have, never will, is why, when people actually forward these things on, do they never ever remove all the crap at the top of the email!? It’s right there, plain as day. A simple scroll and delete would remove it, but nope…

I counted how many email addresses were on the page… 1117. That is a shitload of email addresses, and what’s even worse? My email address is now on there as it gets thrown around the Internet for people to abuse. Monkeys.
